April 27, 2008 *****************************FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE*************************** DETTINGER SECURES GOP ENDORSEMENT FOR 30A (ROCHESTER) - Jake Dettinger’s campaign for Minnesota House of Representatives takes another step forward as he earned the Republican endorsement Saturday at the Ramada Inn in Rochester. Dettinger’s opening comments at the endorsement convention were followed by a lengthy question and answer session, which led to a standing vote to endorse. “It’s great to have the backing of the party at this point. Now we can present a united front to capture the seat and return fiscal responsibility to St Paul. I’m excited to take the positive message of personal and economic freedom to the people of Rochester.” said Dettinger. Dettinger announced his run for House Seat 30A back in February at the Olmsted County Convention. He owns the Erbert & Gerbert’s restaurant franchises in Rochester. This is his first time running for political office. Dettinger also added; “I started this campaign because I saw that in the real world, most people generally agree and have the same goals - where we sometimes differ is how to get there. Rochester is a great community and we know how to get things done - it’s time to bring that real world approach to St. Paul.” |
